Wishful thinking
I wish there was a ridicaeasy way to crosspost my wordpress posts onto my livejournal. There is that LJXP plugin, but it kind of sucks.
Oh, internet. Perhaps if I learn how to computer better (the poor grammar is intentional), I can write a supa-fantast web app or plugin.
Speaking of bettering my education, the Four Headed Beast has been reduced to Three; this morning, I took the Spanish Language exam. Hopefully I passed. Either way, I have no intention to ever take a formal Spanish class ever again. Ever. I’m finished; I should’ve taken Latin. I surprised myself by actually finishing, though; maybe I’m not as bad as I thought (that, and getting a bronze medal for the National Spanish Exam with absolutely no effort on my part…not to sound conceited).
This Friday: APUSH (AKA the biggest mistake of my life; yes, it has pushed AP Geography down to number two)
Next Wednesday: English Language
The Wednesday After That (Late Exam, because it was scheduled at the same time as Spanish Lang): Computer Science A.
So, really, after Friday, the Three Headed Beast will be once again reduced to a measly Two Headed Imp; I read English pretty damn well, so I’m not that worried. And Comp Sci is my bitch.
I apologize if none of this is interesting.
Following the AP exam from the Nether-Regions of Earth is my brother’s graduation. I’m very proud of the little rascal; his long sought-after architecture major and the random surprise history minor (seriously, WTF did that come from?) and the super-success of acquiring suma cume laude (what does that even mean? I’ve Wikipedia’d it and I don’t think I understand. It really doesn’t seem all that impressive to me, but don’t tell my family I said that; they’ll shun me for my indifference). Gino’s kind of insistent on me attending the graduation (another aside: I don’t even want to go to my graduation; why would I want to go to his without a fight?), so if the school will excuse it (I doubt it will), I may just leave right after the exam.
And then, TAMS gets out that day as well; perhaps, for that weekend, we may go see Iron Man. The trailers suck, but I’ve heard that it is comparable to Batman Begins, as far as superhero movies go. That must be pretty good; I liked Batman Begins. It could also double as birthday celebration for Dianne and Daniel! Oh, the joys of convenient scheduling.
If you skipped reading that (and I don’t blame you), basically: I’m going to college. My brother went to college. And I want to see Iron Man.
Cohesive. Excellent.
