Again, with the Danny Boyle Sunshine project. It’s about astronauts who try to save the sun, because it is dying, and in effect, the Earth is also dying. I really want to see this…coming out next year. Hmm…reading about it…poopens, it’s got that guy, Chris Evans, from Cellular (terrible movie) and Fantastic Four (even worse movie). Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Tomorrow Never Dies, Memoirs of a Geisha), Cliff Curtis, Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, Batman Begins, Red Eye), Rose Byrne (Troy, Star Wars: Episdode II: Attack of the Clones, Antoinette), Hiroyuki Sanada (Ringu, The Last Samurai), Benedict Wong (Dirty Pretty Things, Cock and Bull, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang). Looks promising enough. Look it up on IMDb.com. The site also gives information about the sun…this is pretty neat:
The temperature of the Sun varies from 5800K on the surface to 15,600,000K at the core. The outermost layer of the Sun, the corona, is between 1-2,000,000K. Though its temperature is high, its particle density is so low that it releases little heat. If a person were able to stand in the Sun’s corona they wouldn’t burn, instead they’d freeze in the near vacuum.
Wow, the movie site is really cool. SunshineDNA.com
It’s fall break now, which gives me a whole week to slowly, but surely do my homework.
Thursday’s concert went alright, but afterward it was awkward, because I told my dad to pick me up at 9:00 for some reason. Since he wasn’t home, I had to sit outside St. Andrews with Mrs. Booth and Ms. Mabel. They seemed okay with it and they were very nice, but I still feel horrible and embarassed.
I accidentally fell asleep that night…it wasn’t supposed to happen. I fell asleep on my arms in front of the computer, and when I woke up, they were asleep. Extremely asleep. Yikes, so I got really upset, and just went to bed. The night before that, I had gone to bed at 5:30 in the morning.
