What the Future Holds: Decathlon, Blood and Women Engineers
Wednesday, 21 May, 2008 – 20:26I'm donating blood for the third time tomorrow, but this time I'm doing what is called "Double Red Cell Collection." The donations I made in January and March were whole blood. Anyway, I think I'm going to make this a regular thing. Donating blood as often as they'll allow. It makes me feel significant. It doesn't hurt that I'm "saving three lives" either, but to be perfectly honest that has nothing to do with why it appeals to me. So, anyway, the high school I attend is apparently very big on blood drives. See? I guess this will look good for college. Neat. Speaking of which, I'm trying out for the Academic Decathlon team next year. I'm looking forward to it, now. But before that, I need to finish 11th grade.
